Good Design Show and The Awards Ceremony In Athens

Από τα εντυπωσιακά Εγκαίνια της έκθεσης και της τελετήςαπονομής Βραβείων, για το θρυλικό πρόγραμμα σχεδιασμού και αρχιτεκτονικής GOOD DESIGN® με τίτλο Good Design SHOW στον εκπληκτικό χώρο του The European Centre Athens, έχω να πω τα καλύτερα για τα εκθέματα, την μεγάλη διεθνή συμμετοχή και την οργάνωση.
Τα εκθέματα παρουσιάζονται και προβάλλονται με τον καλύτερο τρόπο, κάτι που κυριολεκτικά ενθουσίασε τους συμμετέχοντες. Η τελετή / δεξίωση απονομής Βραβείων έγινε σε έναν ιδιαίτερο και εξαιρετικό χώρο, με φόντο τη φωτισμένη Ακρόπολη. Η ελληνική παραδοσιακή φιλοξενία τηρήθηκε με όλους τους κανόνες. Οι φιλοξενούμενοι από όλα τα μέρη του κόσμου είχαν να πουν τα καλύτερα.
Το σήμα του GOOD DESIGN® θεωρείται διεθνώς ως το σήμα αριστείας σχεδιασμού, αναγνωρίζοντας τις πιο εξαιρετικές και ριζοσπαστικές δημιουργίες στον κόσμο του σχεδιασμού. Από το 1950, περισσότερες από 40.000 δημιουργίες έχουν απονεμηθεί με το βραβείο για την καινοτομία τους.
To Good Design SHOW, διεξάγεται υπό την αιγίδα του The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design και του The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies και παρουσιάζει τους κορυφαίους σχεδιαστές και κατασκευαστές παγκοσμίως υπογραμμίζοντας τα πιο καινοτόμα σχέδια σε ποικίλους τομείς, από την τεχνολογία και τα έπιπλα έως τον ιατρικό εξοπλισμό, γραφικά και αυτοκίνητα.
Η Έκθεση Good Design SHOW θα διαρκέσει έως τις 12 Μαΐου με δωρεάν είσοδο για το κοινό.
Θα συνιστούσα να την επισκεφτείτε είτε για λόγους επαγγελματικούς είτε για λόγους γενικότερου ενδιαφέροντος. Το σίγουρο είναι ότι το κτίριο, η έκθεση και τα εκθέματα βραβευθέντα και μη θα σας ενθουσιάσουν.

The Awards' Ceremony celebrating The GOOD DESIGN® AWARDS took place in front of the Acropolis on Friday, March 15th, in Athens at ELEON LOFT.

Since 1950, more than 40,000 creations have been presented with the award for innovation, sustainability, creativity, branding, ecologically responsible design, materials, technology, graphic arts, packaging, and universal design. For over seven decades since its inception, The Chicago Athenaeum continues the organizing of the program to create a revived awareness about contemporary design.
From sky drones and new autonomous cars to everyday objects, entries for design and innovation, sustainability, creativity, branding, ecologically responsible design, human factors, materials, technology, graphic arts, packaging, The Good Design Show 2024 features a selection of projects that stand out for their iconic design.
Approximately 5,000 shortlisted entries were judged by independent and international jurors with the awards given to the designs with the highest design quality, innovation degree, and superior design.
